Join us on our inaugural club trip to the Brecon Beacon. Hopefully the river gods will be kind and allow us to paddle some of the best rivers South Wales has to offer.
The aim is to travel up on the Friday afternoon/evening and stay at a bunkhouse. We will paddle on the Saturday and Sunday morning before travelling back late Sunday afternoon.
Costs will be between around £40-£60 for 2 nights accommodation with food included. This will be in the form of self-catered meals, where everyone will be expected to muck in. Meals provided in this price will be breakfast on both days and an evening meal Saturday. Basic lunch ingredients will be provided, you will just need to make your own each day.
You will need to arrange your own meal for Friday night.
There will be a £20 deposit required when registering for the trip, this will secure your place in the accommodation. The balance will need to be paid by the beginning of April.
The bunkhouse details are:

We will aim to buddy people up for travelling to reduce fuel costs which will run to around £100 per car (we usually see between 2 and 4 people travelling together).
The trip will be split into three groups.
- Those with little to no moving water experience where formal coaching will be provided.
- Those with some moving water experience and wishing to develop their skills.
- And finally a peer group.
The bunk house can hold 24 people so do not delay in reserving your place.
In the event we have more than 24 people interested in this trip, there is the possibility of housing a further 10 people in a separate bunkhouse.
