Join us on the Royal Military Canal for a gentle peer paddle from Hamstreet to Warehorne and back.
We will meet at the bridge crossing Marsh road in Hamstreet on Thursday - see https://www.google.com/maps/@51.0555317,0.8592389,17z
We should be able to park alongside the road or opposite the Garden center and will be paddling to Warehorne and back.
The paddle should take around 2 hours so don't forget a drink and snack.
This trip is suitable for all members who can paddle in a straight line for 50m and self rescue*.
Organiser: Malcolm Oates
Group leaders: Malcolm Oates and Sammy Deans
Don't forget, you must bring your own equipment as we are not currently able to offer equipment!
* A self rescue is generally an eskimo roll or swimming to the bank with your boat and paddle, retrieving it from the water and getting back in unassisted.
