Join us on the River Medway for a peer paddle from Hartlake bridge up to Tonbridge and back.
We will meet at on Hartlake road by the bridge on Saturday - see https://www.google.com/maps/@51.2011842,0.3087471,15z
The plan will be to paddle up to Tonbridge running the canoe shoots on the return leg.
We should be on the water for around 3 hours so you will need to bring a drink and some food.
This trip is suitable for all members who can paddle in a straight line for 50m and self rescue*.
Organiser: Malcolm Oates
Group leaders: Malcolm Oates and Sammy Deans
Don't forget, you must bring your own equipment as we are not currently able to offer equipment!
* A self rescue is generally an eskimo roll or swimming to the bank with your boat and paddle, retrieving it from the water and getting back in unassisted.
