2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Please join us for the Pirates Canoe Club Annual General Meeting (AGM).

This years meeting will be virtual, via Microsoft Teams (for obvious reasons).

As this is our first virtual AGM, please review the conduct guidance at the bottom.

The AGM is a celebration of what we have been up to and achieved over the last year (granted, not much) and provides all members with an opportunity to help decide on how the club operates and what we get up to over the next year.

If you have any ideas, skills or a little time to join in or support the club or committee, or some thoughts or suggestions for events or trips you would like to see the club putting on, make sure you come along. If not, come along anyway - it's great to see as many faces as possible!

Please contact us or reply to the event email with anything you would like us to add to the agenda for the meeting or if you have any questions. Getting these ahead of time will help us keep the meeting brief and interesting.

Conduct During Online AGM

The Pirates Canoe Club is a family friendly organisation. Children may be present and are welcome to participate with parental supervision. A certain level of etiquette is expected to the Committee and to the members participating in the AGM. By attending the meeting, you agree to the following:

• Please join the meeting a few minutes before the advertised start time to minimise disruption.>
• If you wish to make a comment, please use the raise hand function so that members avoid talking over the top of each other. You can also use the chat function to make a comment and this will be checked throughout the meeting.
• Remember to use the mute function to avoid any background noise.
• Please do not record or screenshot or take photos of anything without consent.
• Make sure you wear appropriate clothing, even on parts of you that you think will not be visible and consider what may be in view in the background.
• Please remember to use appropriate language and avoid any discriminatory or offensive language or behaviour.
