Stour - River Trip - Grove Ferry

Registration

  • Use this if you are Explore (old 2 star) standard or above.

    You will be paddling in a group of no more than six at the same standard
  • Use this if you are not of Explore (Old 2 Star) standard.

    You will have one of our Coaches/River Leaders with you to give you pointers along the way.

Stour- River Trip

Join us for a paddle along the river Stour

We will be getting on at Grove ferry and paddling either up to the nature reserve or to Plucks Gutter and returning back to Grove Ferry.

We will meet at the public car park just after the bridge/railway crossing for 10:00, with an on the water time of 10:30. 

This is a great touring trip for SUP's and canoes and is open to all members who have completed the beginners course or have proven they are of the standard required to paddle in a straight line for 50m.

Car Park location

We should be on the water for around  3/4 hours, so it is advisable to bring something to eat and drink and dress for the weather.
