We are pleased to announce our first all club trip of 2021 to Northampton Active, otherwise known as the Nene.
It is an artificial white water course on the banks of the River Nene, just outside Northampton, and is a great venue to have your first experience of white water kayaking.
It also offers a challenge to those paddlers wishing to hone their white water skills before taking on Lee Valley or more natural grade II/III rivers.
No previous moving water experience is required; we only stipulate that you have adequate paddling experience or have completed our beginners course; this ensures you can control a kayak and safely exit it.
We will provide coaches and leaders to guide you down the course.

As not all club members have a way to transport kayaks to the event if you have space for one or two kayaks on your roof/van then please let Malcolm know so we can ensure everyone has a boat to paddle.
