Registration is closed

We will be travelling to North Wales in September

The aim is to travel up on the Friday and stay in local accommodation. We will paddle on the Saturday and Sunday before travelling back on the Sunday evening.

The trip will cater for kayakers and SUPpers with some experience of moving water and we plan to paddle the Dee and/or Tryweryn. If you are unsure on your suitability for this trip, please speak to one of the organisers.

With the trip being fairly short notice everyone will be expected to arrange their own accommodation. We have identified the following hotel as having availability and some members have already booked rooms. It is booking up fast so don't delay.

Where preferred, we will aim to buddy people up for travelling to reduce fuel costs which will run to around £100 per car (we usually see between 2 and 4 people travelling together). The accommodation balance will need to be paid once we have booked and know the final cost. You will be expected to organise meals and fuel yourself.

Once you register for the trip you will be added to the slack channel where we are discussing the trip. This is a great place to arrange car sharing and room mates to help save on costs.

Organiser: Tony Hogben and Malcolm Oates

On the water support: Malcolm Oates, Sammy Deans, Tony Hogben and Barry Hughes

Don't forget to book equipment if you need it!
