We are heading to the coast.
With the lake still closed, join us on for an evening Surf/Sea Paddle @ Folkestone - Open to all paddlers, Sea, Kayak or SUPS
Depending on the weather, we will either meet at Sunny Sands or close to the Coastal Park from where we will head to Mermaid Bay - please keep an eye on your inbox for final details.
If we meet at Sunny Sands, it is best to drop off your equipment at the meet point and then look for a parking space. There is a public car park on Tram Road or you may get a free spot Wear Bay Rd. Please remember to pay if required and don't park in residential spaces.
The plan will be to get on at the harbour and paddle around, then head out to the sea and see what the surf is like. If it is pan flat we'll head to Mermaid Bay.
We should be on the water for no more that 2 hours so don't forget a drink and snack.
This trip is suitable for all members, including beginners

If you need EQUIPMENT then please make sure you book it and arrange to collect it with Jochen. If you cannot bring a boat with you, please let Jochen know and we will see if one can be brought along for you.
