Beginners Course
If you're thinking of joining Pirates Canoe Club or have just started to learn how to paddle, you're in the right place! Our beginner's course has been designed to give you the basic skills in controlling your boat. Once you've completed the course, you'll have the confidence and abilities to join us on our trips, tours and regular paddle sessions.
This second session will be held at Ashford Prep School, Great Chart. Here we will be working on skills from the first session and practicing wet exits and support strokes. Suggested clothing for the session is below.

This course must be pre-booked as so we know how many coaches we need for each session; we cannot accept on the day arrivals.
If you can't attend one of the sessions, please let the coach know and we'll try to fit you in another time. Please arrive promptly as we will aim to be on the water as close to the start time as possible
COVID-19 UPDATE: The safety of our course participants, coaches and Club members is paramount during the current lockdown.
