Introduction to Canoeing
This is the third in a series of canoe sessions being run by Gordon with the final aim of achieving the Explore Award standard.
To follow on from the previous sessions, you will now take the skills learnt on the lake and apply them to a river trip. You will be getting on at Yalding and paddling up to Sluice weir. You will be on the river for a good few hours, so you need to bring food and drink.
Location - Yalding
You will now be working on the specific skills for the Explore Award, recognising your ability to paddle a canoe in a sheltered water environment independently.
