Join us in Nottingham for two days at the National Water Sports Centre, the birthplace of man-made white water kayaking in the UK.
For those old enough, this is the reincarnation of the old BC LASER (London and South East Region) paddle weekends that ran until the early 2000's.
It will be a camping trip, using the campsite close to the centre; there is also a multi-activity centre on the site, so why not make it more family-friendly? Other accommodation is available at your arrangement.; you can book your campsite place now using this Hyperlink
We are awaiting final confirmation from WWAM (White Water Action Medway) on the individual booking page for the event as they are relaunching their website. The cost will be £40 for those attending and free for those who are providing WWSR/Coaching. The cost covers access to the course, coaching and having safety cover whilst on the water
This event is aimed at all abilities, where groups are led down the course; they are fun based and you can paddle as much or as little as you wish. The plan will be to have beginners/guided paddlers in the morning and then those more experienced paddle take to the water in the afternoon.
