Start at Hurst Park (free parking), paddle for a couple of hours, have lunch or a drink at the Boaters Inn, paddle back to start. There is a lock on route but it has small craft passage next to lock, there are rollers and platform to get it on. Suitable for all craft. Not a challenging paddle but nice scenery.
Please note you will need a river licence as we may be asked to produce these at the Lock. If you are a member of British Canoeing, please make sure you have your membership number with you. If not, please let us know as Pirates does have some licences you can use.
Launch at 10:30, back around 15:00 This is the location of the car park: https://w3w.co/being.assume.jukebox There is a height barrier, but you can park before, unload and then drive under.
