Hi Members
This is a PEER PADDLE. I hope you can join me at Sandgate for a sea paddle. We will be meeting at, (What Three Words ///turntable.version.aside), and should be on the water for 09:30. The plan is to be back off the water for midday, so you can go home and enjoy your Sunday Roast.
High Tide is at 10:00, so the tidal flow will be towards Dover. We will therefore paddle against the tidal flow on the outward journey and have its assistance when returning.
This is open to members who can bring along a sea kayak or cross over kayak.
The water is very cold so make sure you are dressed appropriately.
A change of clothes, hot drinks and a bite to eat, are recommended.
You will need to make your own arrangement for collecting any club equipment you may need.
