Rye Harbour return trip along the river Rother to Scotts Lock.
The total length of the paddle is 7 miles. The trip is suitable for sea and crossover kayaks. There will be some tidal assistance, for part of the journey.

Launch from slipway by the RNLI boathouse at 10:45
Arrive at Scotts Lock 11:45, High Tide is 12:16
Off the water for about an hour.
Start return 12:45
Optional detour along the tidal section of the River Brede, 1 hour.
Arrive back at RNLI boathouse 14:45
Please make sure you are dressed for the conditions and bring lunch and a drink.
