***** LAKE SESSION UPDATE******
Hi All
We have just been down to the lake and there are tell tail signs of Blue Green Algae around the slip way and Jetty, with this in mind it has been decided to move tonight's lake session to Folkestone Harbour. For those that need craft, prior to heading down to Folkestone, Malcolm Oates is happy to meet people at the container where you can collect and transport any craft you needed for the session; he can be there between 17:30-18:00, please advise, before 16:00, if you want a craft, otherwise he will not be there to meet you. The plan will be to park in Tram Road Car Park - https://what3words.com/vipers.releasing.brighter And launch from the slipway opposite the chip shop Meeting time will be 18:30/45 with an aim to be on the water for 19:00 at the latest and paddle until people have had enough/sunset

Club Lake Session
Our regular club lake sessions are a great opportunity to learn, practice skills and meet up with members.
If you are attending on a peer paddle, please note that we do not allow 'solo' paddling for safety reasons. To take part in a peer paddle, you need to be able to perform a self-rescue.
There are no changing facilities available, however, we do have gazebo that we are happy to put up if needed.
Equipment is available and you are expected to help return any you borrow to the container at the end of the session.
Address:
We meet at the containers, near the slip onto the lake. There is parking available on club nights.
