Ashford RFC Paddle sport Session

Pirates Canoe Club is pleased to welcome Ashford RFC Men's Team to Conningbrook Lakes.

We will provide a taster session to the team, incorporating some skills along with some fun and games.

While it is not compulsory for your child to be able to swim, it is preferable that they do so confidently. For those who need more confidence, we will provide a life jacket rather than a buoyancy aid.

Details of the event are:

• Upon registering, please use your child's name
• Payment can be made via Stipe or BACS. NOT TEAM MANAGER
• Aim to arrive between 19:15-19:30; IF YOU ARRIVE LATE, YOU WILL DELAY THE WHOLE GROUP.
• Safety briefing will start PROMPTLY at 19:45, with equipment issued directly afterwards.
• Finish between 21:00 & 21:30.
• The location is Conningbrook lakes . The hyperlink will take you to the containers; DO NOT arrive at Julie Rose Stadium.
• Please park on the grass or at the main entrance if it is full; do not block the gate to the lake.
• Please arrive ready to paddle (swim shorts, sports t-shirt or rash vest, footwear that can get wet, no flip-flops).
• Please bring a change of clothes, footwear, and a towel (note that there are no changing facilities on site, so it will be alfresco changing; however there is access to a container you can use as a changing room).
• Pirates Canoe Club will provide all safety equipment; if you have your own buoyance aid and helmet, please bring it.
