Sammy will be running the first of two introduction sessions on the lake to give members the chance to try and experience paddling a sea kayak.
The idea is to introduce you to fundaments of sea kayaking understanding how they manoeuvre on the water .
The aim is to provide the fundamental training in preparation for two Sea Kayaking journeys he plans to run in July.
Ideally participants should be comfortable paddling a normal kayak and can demonstrate the skills beyond the Discover award.
This session will take place at the lake on a normal club night with kayaks and paddles being provided, all you need to do is bring your own buoyancy aid and spray deck. That said there is club equipment available within the container if needed.
