External Activity Sanctioned By Club
Event: Sea Kayak Rolling Course
Dates: 6 March and 13th March 2025
Time: 18:00 to 20:00
Location: Marlie Farm, Dymchurch
Responsible External Coach: Ash Clare
Cost: £75.00 for the course
Pool Sessions with be used for learning and practicing rolling, and over the two weeks it will build on the skills learnt.
All registrants must be able to self rescue.
If needed then further pool sessions can be arrange in April
Each pool session will be limited to 8 people with only 4 sea kayaks allowed in the pool.

Pool sessions are by booking only and limited so please make sure you book early
- This is a sea kayak rolling course
- This is a members and guests are welcome.
- There is a fee of £37.50 for each session, total £75.00 for the course,
- All equipment must be clean before being used in the pool. You may be turned away if your craft is dirty.
- Please help move ALL craft in and out of the building so that we can be as quick as possible.
- Pool sessions start at 18:00, so please be there at least 15 minutes beforehand so that you are ready in time.
- Pool If using the changing facilities, please be quick as we need to be out of the building by 20:15
- If you need equipment, please make arrangements to book & collect it with the Quartermaster. It is your responsibility to transport it to the pool and return it to the container.
Important
This activity is not run or organised by Pirates Canoe Club, this event in the calendar is just a place holder to allow organisation of group by those who are attending. It must be noted that this activity is not covered by club insurance. The coach should be covered by PUK Coaching insurance, this is not the clubs responsibility to check.

This Activity is facilitated or promoted by the club that is delivered by a non-affiliated* external provider.
The external provider is responsible for managing safety, enforcing rules and making informed decisions in response to changing conditions or emergencies.
Participants are expected to follow the instructions of the person/people responsible for the activity, to act responsibly, follow club rules, support each other and the general safety of all participants.
Insurance is required by the external provider.
